Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in the Austin area seeks a BC or BE Neurologist or Epileptologist to join Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Lakeway, Texas. The ideal candidate will have epilepsy experience or fellowship training and Texas licensure requirements.

This employed role offers a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, a comprehensive benefits package and no state income tax, with a Monday–Friday clinic schedule and shared EMU call.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas (Texas Medical Board).
• BC or BE Neurologist or Epileptologist required/planned.
• Board certification pursued or obtained per relevant ABMS board guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide neurologic care with a focus on epilepsy.
• Share clinic coverage/call for EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit).

• Clinic schedule is Monday-Friday with shared coverage/call for the EMU

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Where applicable, the employee must be board certified in their specialty. Alternatively, they must purposefully pursue board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialists or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
