Job summary

Mercor is hiring board-certified neurologists (MDs and DOs) to evaluate health AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab. You will read de-identified patient charts and judge AI answers to clinical questions in neurology.

Key responsibilities include evaluating AI answers for clinical accuracy, checking against patient charts, writing structured rationales, and flagging errors that could compromise patient safety.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified in ABPN Neurology (ABMS or AOA).
• Active, unrestricted US medical license.
• Residency complete; fellowship if required by specialty.
• Currently practicing in the US with ≥1 year independent practice.
• 3+ years of post-training experience preferred.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.

• Evaluate AI answers to neurology questions for clinical accuracy, safety, and alignment with standards of care
• Assess each answer against patient charts and choose the stronger response

Job description

Pay: $200/hour
Commitment: Hourly, ~20 h/week

• Write structured rationales on clinical rigor, completeness and clarity
• Flag errors that could compromise patient safety

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certified in ABPN Neurology through an ABMS member board or the AOA
• Active, unrestricted US medical license
• Residency complete, plus fellowship where your specialty requires one
• Currently practicing and seeing patients in the US, with at least 1 year of independent practice after training
• 3+ years of post-training experience strongly preferred
• Clear written communication and close attention to detail
