Tidewater Neurologists, Inc. & Sleep Disorders Specialists is seeking a full-time Neurologist (MD or DO) to join a physician-led, multi-site practice in Hampton Roads, VA.

The role offers clinical autonomy within a collaborative team, treating a broad range of neurological conditions and sleep-related disorders. Ideal candidates are board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology, hold a Virginia license or have the ability to obtain one, and are committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
• Active Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations and exams.
• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of neurological disorders.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with sleep medicine and behavioral health teams for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, options, and lifestyle changes.

About the Role

We’re looking for a thoughtful, patient-focused Neurologist to practice broad, high-quality neurology within a supportive, multidisciplinary team. You’ll diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions — including headache disorders, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular disease, stroke, cognitive disorders, and sleep-related neurological conditions — while working closely with our sleep medicine specialists, behavioral health providers, and clinical staff to deliver truly coordinated care.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
• Valid, unrestricted U.S. medical license (active Virginia license or ability to obtain one)
• Demonstrated clinical experience evaluating and managing neurological conditions
