Responsibilities

• Perform procedures including lumbar punctures, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction velocity tests.
• Develop treatment plans and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals

Job Summary

The Prisma Health Physician is responsible for the provision of quality medical services to patients of Prisma Health-University Medical Group

NEUROLOGIST: (Prisma Health University Medical Group - Greenville, SC) Examine and evaluate patients to diagnose and treat neurological disorders and conditions; order and interpret lab analyses and imaging tests; perform procedures including lumbar punctures, electroencelphalograms, electromyography, and nerve conduction velocity tests; develop treatment plans; and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions and care. Requirements: MD/DO/foreign degree equivalent in Medicine; completion of Neurology Residency (48 months); Neurocritical Care Fellowship (24 months); Board certification/eligibility in Neurology; and SC license/eligibility.
