Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist with inpatient experience.
• Inpatient neurology and stroke management proficiency.
• Comfort with ED stroke alerts and acute care in a high-volume center.

Responsibilities

• Lead inpatient neurology services and coordinate stroke care across campuses.
• Respond to ED stroke alerts and oversee acute stroke admission and care.
• Collaborate with Stroke Coordinator and Neurocritical Care teams.
• Support patients and families with compassionate, patient-centered care.

• 7on/7 off schedule
• Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 1 Trauma at our nearby Gainesville campus
• Consult only service
• Robust Neurology program that includes
  • 18 bed Neuro-Critical Care Unit covered by dedicated Neurocritical Care Team at our nearby Gainesville campus
  • Interventional Neurology
  • Neurosurgery
  • Outpatient Neurology program with subspeciality support
• Experienced support staff includes a dedicated Stroke Coordinator, Educator and Stroke Navigator
• 24/7 EEG Support
• Opportunities for structured Neuroscience educational sessions, M&M, and GME
• EMR Platform - EPIC

• BC/BE Neurology
• Proficient in inpatient neurology and stroke management
