The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia Health system seeks a Contract Neurointerventional Radiology Tech Traveler (Internal) to support clinical practice across assignments. Positions are offered in 13-week blocks, with renewal possible up to 39 weeks and a one-time $2,500 incentive with the first 13-week assignment.

Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited radiography program, ARRT-R.T. registration, and BLS certification.

Contract Neurointerventional Radiology Tech Traveler (Internal)

Internal Traveler positions are:

compensated competitively with other traveler positions, available in a wide variety of clinical practice opportunities, and are offered in 13-week blocks, which may be renewed up to a maximum of 39 weeks. One-time $2,500.00 incentive pay with first 13 week assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography required. Associate's Degree in Radiography preferred.

Experience: 1-year relevant experience

Licensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T.) required. ARRT (VI) certification preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping and reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to fumes, cold, heat, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

The pay rate for this role is $88.00 hourly. This position is compensated at a fixed rate. Compensation is established in accordance with the position's approved pay structure.
