Saratoga Ascend seeks an MRI Technician for an on-site research role in Baltimore, MD at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). You will perform structural MRI, fMRI, and MR spectroscopy, ensuring safety and data quality across NIH protocols.

The role involves setting up equipment, maintaining datasets, and collaborating with research teams to advance imaging methods in human brain studies. On-site, immediate start preferred.

Formación

• MRI technology education required.
• ARRT MR certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for research participants.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Screen participants for MRI safety risks before entering the scanner.
• Ensure participant safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
• Operate a 3T Siemens MRI scanner for structural MRI, fMRI, and MR spectroscopy.
• Set up MRI equipment, coils, and related imaging systems.
• Perform MRI quality assurance and verify imaging quality.
• Organize, archive and maintain MRI images and research datasets; transfer to PACS and research databases.
• Maintain scan logs, participant records, reports, and spreadsheets.
• Support NIH research protocols and collaborate with research personnel on imaging studies.
• Assist with MRI scheduling, equipment and supply prep, and maintain a clean MRI suite.
• Operate EEG, TMS, and tDCS equipment with training and supervision.
