Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, VA, invites applications for an Open Rank faculty position in the Division of Vascular and Critical Care Neurology within the Neurology Department. The role combines patient care in neurocritical and outpatient settings with teaching and research responsibilities.

The successful candidate will contribute to medical student and resident education, participate in clinical trials, and engage in departmental and university service.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or MD/PhD degree (or equivalent) required.
• Board certification/eligibility in Neurology (BC/BE) required.
• Completed neurology residency at an ACGME-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in neurocritical care inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Teach medical students and housestaff; participate in conferences and rounds.
• Engage in clinical and translational research and clinical trials.
• Serve on departmental and School of Medicine committees as needed.
