Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center seeks a board-certified/eligible Neurohospitalist to join the Department of Neurology. The team includes 35+ physicians and 15+ advanced practice providers as part of a large academic system in central Pennsylvania.

The position offers 7 on/7 off, 12-hour day shifts on inpatient services with no outpatient duties, robust research opportunities, and potential for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor appointment depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree.
• BC/BE Neurology with experience and/or interest in neurohospitalist practice.
• Ability to acquire license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurohospitalist coverage on a 7 on/7 off, 12-hour day shift.
• No outpatient clinical responsibilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in medical education and research.
• Contribute to patient care quality and institutional missions.
