Job summary

Astera Cancer Care in New Jersey seeks a Neurohospitalist to join a unique practice bridging inpatient neurology and oncology care. • Perform CAR-T neuro assessments and evaluate suspected stroke
• Collaborate with intensivists and oncology/hematology teams to coordinate care across the hospital

About the Role

Astera Cancer Care is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join a unique and highly collaborative practice that bridges inpatient neurology and oncology care. In this role, you will provide general neurology consultations, manage seizure disorders and neurologic complications in cancer patients, perform CAR-T neuro assessments, and evaluate patients with suspected stroke, while working closely with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams caring for complex hospitalized patients. The position includes inpatient responsibilities at St. Peter's University Hospital as well as collaboration with Astera's outpatient team, creating continuity across the patient care journey. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who enjoys the intellectual challenge of hospital-based neurology, values interdisciplinary collaboration, and wants to play a meaningful role in advancing care for patients with both neurologic and oncologic needs.
