Parkview Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join our Neurohospitalist services in Fort Wayne, IN. The role supports a multidisciplinary Neurosciences team with inpatient and outpatient opportunities and a strong focus on stroke care and EEG interpretation.

You will collaborate with a dedicated Neuro ICU team and participate in on-call rotations, with virtual neurology consultations and comprehensive inpatient services available as part of Parkview Regional

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist with strong clinical neurology experience.
• Expertise in acute neurology and stroke care is preferred.
• Ability to interpret EEGs and participate in on-call rotations.

• Cares for patients with stroke, epilepsy, MS, and neuromuscular conditions in a hospital setting.
• Perform acute neurology consults and ED stroke assessments with thrombolysis guidance.
• Conduct virtual neurology consultations with affiliated hospitals and interpret EEGs.
• Participate in overnight on-call rotations and collaborate with Neuro ICU and neurosurgery teams.
• Inpatient and outpatient opportunities may be available.

Position Overview

Parkview Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join our Neurohospitalist services as part of a multidisciplinary Neurosciences team in Fort Wayne, IN.

Responsibilities

• Interest in general neurology within the hospital setting including caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, MS, neuromuscular exacerbation, delirium and brain tumors.
• Acute neurology patient consulting – only service.
• Emergency Department stroke assessments with guidance for thrombolytic therapy.
• Virtual neurology consultations at affiliated outlying hospitals.
• Electroencephalogram interpretation.
• Participation in overnight on‑call rotation.
• Inpatient and outpatient opportunities available.
• Expertise in stroke and EEG interpretation are an asset.
• Collaborate with Dedicated Neuro ICU staffed by a team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, overseen by Neurosurgery.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist.
• Strong clinical experience in acute neurology and stroke care.
• Ability to perform electrophysiology interpretation (EEG).
• Experience with on‑call rotations and virtual care acceptable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment.

About the Neurosciences Team

The team includes 20 physicians across outpatient Neurology, Neurohospitalist, Neurointensive care, Neuro‑intervention, Neurosurgery and Physiatry, fostering collaboration and dynamic learning.
