Neurodiagnostic Technologist

An electrical and neuroimaging specialist responsible for conducting and supervising a variety of diagnostic procedures such as electroencephalograms (EEG), event‑related potentials, polysomnograms (PSG), electroencephalographic scalp monitoring, evoked potential testing, electronystagmography, polygraphy, nerve conduction studies, electromyography, and intraoperative monitoring. The technologist prepares patients, applies electrodes and sensors, calibrates equipment, and ensures accurate, artifact‑free data acquisition.

What a Day Looks Like
