Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist II to perform routine and complex electroencephalographic procedures, including intra-operative monitoring and EMU monitoring. This on-site, full-time role includes a strong benefits package and a sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates.

The position requires ABRET EEG/EP certification upon hire, BLS certification, and at least one year of full-time experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification upon hire (American Heart Association).
• One year full-time experience required.
• Documented training in evoked potentials and intra-operative monitoring (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex EEG procedures including intra-operative monitoring, EMU monitoring, cEEG, and ambulatory video EEG.
• Monitor placement of sphenoidal, grid, depth and strip electrodes.
• Assist with WADA testing and cortical stimulation.

Neurodiagnostic Technologist II – Providence Portland Medical Center, Portland, OR. Full‑time, day shift. $8,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begins on your first day of employment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex electroencephalographic procedures, intra‑operative monitoring, EMU monitoring, cEEG and ambulatory video EEG.


• Monitor placement of sphenoidal, grid, depth and strip electrodes.


• Assist with WADA testing and coritcol stimulation.

Required Qualifications

• National Certification from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists upon hire.


• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.


• One year full‑time experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training – Documented training in evoked potentials and intra‑operative monitoring.

Pay Range

$31.71 - $49.22. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
