Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist II for a full-time day shift. The role performs routine and complex EEG procedures, intra-operative monitoring, EMU monitoring, cEEG, and ambulatory video EEG, with electrode placement oversight.

A $8,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates. Requirements include ABRET EEG certification on hire, BLS through the American Heart Association, and at least one year of full-time

Qualifications

• National Certification from ABRET in EEG/evoked potentials (hire).
• BLS per American Heart Association (hire).
• 1 year full-time experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex electroencephalographic procedures, intra-operative monitoring, EMU monitoring, cEEG and ambulatory video EEG.
• Monitors electrode placement (sphenoidal, grid, depth, strip) and supports WADA testing and cortical stimulation.

Full-Time/Day Shift

$8,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

Performs routine and complex electroencephalographic procedures, intra-operative monitoring, EMU monitoring, cEEG and ambulatory video EEG. Monitors placement of sphenoidal, grid, depth and strip electrodes. Assists with WADA testing and coritcol stimulation.

Required Qualifications

• National Certification from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists upon hire.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year Full time experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training - Documented training in evoked potentials and intra-operative monitoring.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
