Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist for a full-time day shift in Norfolk, VA. The role covers EEG, evoked potentials, and intraoperative monitoring across ICU and OR settings.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma with one year of experience; an associate degree is preferred. Certifications in EEG, REPT or CNIM are required along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with one year of experience.
• Associates degree in Electro neurodiagnostic tech preferred.
• Registered EEG tech, REPT or CNIM certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of neurophysiological studies in lab, OR and ICU.
• Operate and maintain complex monitoring instruments and document data.
• Ensure tests are properly ordered, charged and reported.
• Make independent assessments indicating urgent medical interaction.
