Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA seeks a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist for a full-time, day shift. You will perform neurophysiological studies across lab, intraoperative and ICU settings, maintain equipment, and document data for interpretation.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, one year of experience, and EEG/REPT/CNIM certifications with BLS. Invasive/non-invasive experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; one year of experience preferred.
• Associates degree in Electro Neurodiagnostic Tech preferred.
• Certifications in EEG/REPT/CNIM or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of neurophysiological studies in lab, OR and ICU.
• Operate and maintain complex monitoring instruments and document data.
• Ensure tests are properly ordered, charged and reported; assist with urgent interpretations.
• Conduct independent assessments that may indicate urgent medical interaction.
