Job summary

UNC Health Johnston Health in North Carolina is seeking a per diem Neurodiagnostic professional to perform standard and complex EEG, EMG, NCV, EP and polysomnographic testing in lab, clinic, bedside, or operating room settings. Qualifications

• Graduation from an acceptable Neurophysiology program.
• Registry eligible for EEG, EP, NCV, or Intra-Operative Monitoring.
• Experience requirements vary by education: no experience if Neurophysiology program completed; two years if HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic tests: EEG, EMG, NCV, EP, polysomnography with CPAP if needed.
• Sets up equipment and rooms in hospital, operating rooms or clinics; calibrates devices.
• Reads, scores neurodiagnostic and polysomnographic tests.
• Takes patient histories and provides test-prep and follow-up instructions.
