Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Neurodiagnostic professional to perform high-quality neurodiagnostic procedures following ACNS guidelines under minimal supervision. You will ensure accurate patient measurements, proper electrode placement, and robust testing procedures to support physician interpretation.

Flexibility to cross-cover sites and shifts is required. The role includes direct patient care, adherence to policies, and accurate documentation, with opportunities to collaborate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to solve problems using basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
• Detail-oriented with efficient computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and interdependently with physicians, co-workers and other clinical staff.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 30 Days.

Responsibilities

• According to policy and procedures performs high quality neurodiagnostic procedures.
• According to policy and procedure, prepare patient for testing.
• According to policy and procedure provides direct patient care and support service as direct by patient need.
• Adheres to all polices and procedures and participates in all mandatory programs.
• Ensures documentation is accurate and complete and performs a variety of clerical tasks.
• Exhibits behaviors and attitude critical to successful role proficiency.
• Utilizes effective communication skills in all interpersonal interaction with physicians, clinical staff, fellow employees, hospital staff and the public.
• Performs other duties/goals as assigned.
