Job summary

Medical City Dallas is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Specialist for night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) with rotating weekends. The role operates in the epilepsy monitoring unit and/or ICU, performing EEG, LTM-ICU, EMU, EP and related studies. Requires R. EEG T. and CLTM credentials or board eligibility, plus BLS.

The department emphasizes comprehensive training, teamwork, and on-call responsibilities with a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Strong computer skills with Windows and Office experience.
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic program or higher; associate degree acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG, LTM-ICU and EMU procedures and related tests (EP).
• Provide findings, results, and descriptive analysis per facility policy.
• Rotate on-call with the neurodiagnostic team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Neurodiagnostic Specialist is an advanced level position in the epilepsy monitoring unit and/or intensive care unit able to perform all neurodiagnostic procedures (EEG, LTM-ICU and EMU, EP) and may also perform additional responsibilities including, but not limited to WADA, PET, and Ictal SPECT. The technologist must be able to provide findings, results, and a descriptive analysis according to facility policy and procedures. Technologist may perform tasks with supervision until competencies are met and then demonstrate competencies yearly. Tech is required to rotate on-call with the neurodiagnostic team.

What qualifications you will need:

• 2+ years of experience required

• Well-developed computer skills with experience in windows and office suite.

• Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology (NDT) Program, or an Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is desired.

• Credential in electroencephalograpy (R. EEG T.) required.

• Credential in long-term monitoring (CLTM) or must be board eligible.

• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
