Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited neurodiagnostic technology program or two years of relevant neurodiagnostic experience.
• Required certification through ABRET, ABEM, and/or AAET within two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients accurately and securely for EEG studies.
• Acquire high-quality data and maintain a safe testing environment.
• Monitor EEG recordings for surgical, adult, and pediatric patients; respond to seizures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and assist with SPECT injections; provide shift reports.
• Serve as liaison between nurses and physicians and mentor rotating student technologists.
