Qualifications

• Accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program or equivalent education.
• Minimum of three (3) years as a Neurodiagnostic Technologist.
• Prior experience in clinical education, precepting, or leadership preferred.
• Experience in curriculum development, competency management, and/or workforce development preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

• Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
• Attaches and connects electrodes on the head and EEG machine.
• Performs prescribed testing.
• Performs long-term video EEG monitoring on patients, using the International 10-20 system.
• Reviews patient history and educates patient about procedures.
• Monitors and documents patient conditions and responds to seizures.
• Performs data retrieval and reduction for EEG recordings for physician review.

This role oversees onboarding, competency validation, continuing education, clinical skills training, and professional development for neurodiagnostic staff. The Educator promoted clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and standardized practice while supporting the development, engagement, and retention of a highly skilled neurodiagnostic workforce.** 5 days per week- Weekends, if needed.Responsibilities:Identifies and corrects artifacts. Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.Attaches and connects electrodes on the head and EEG machine. Performs prescribed testing.Performs long-term video EEG monitoring on patients, demonstrating proficiency in the International 10-20 system. Performs job functions following the ‘Guidelines for EEG and Long Term Neuro-Diagnostic Monitoring in Epilepsy” as set by the American Society of Electro-Neuro-Diagnostic Technologists.Reviews patient's history and educates patient about procedure.
