Job Description:
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida, Jacksonville is seeking a board certified/eligible pediatrician at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor level to pursue a career in Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) and/or Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics NDD). This position will report to the Chief of the Division of Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville. Responsibilities include providing developmental assessment and clinical care to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting, working collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Participation in educational programs; health promotion and disease prevention; and participation in monthly department faculty meetings, administrative functions and institutional committees as requested. Clinical research activity is encouraged. With more than 6,200 faculty and staff, UF Health in Jacksonville is the largest UF campus outside of Gainesville. UF Health physicians offer primary care and specialty services in practices throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, tallying more than 650,000 outpatient visits and more than 40,000 inpatient admissions annually.

Expected Salary:

Salary is based on academic rank and years of experience and is guided by AAMC salary data for academic practices.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicant must possess a MD/DO degree, possess or be eligible for a Florida Medical License

Preferred Qualifications:
Be board certified/eligible in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) or in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (NDD).
