Job summary

The Neurocritical Care Society is seeking a Neurocritical Care Physician to join the Illinois Neurological Institute & OSF HealthCare practice in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves working in a high-volume Neuroscience ICU with a flexible 7 on 7 off schedule, as well as collaboration with various residency programs. Applicants should have completed a Neurocritical Care Fellowship and hold an MD/DO degree. The position offers a competitive salary range of $314,137-$450,000, alongside notable benefits including CME time and a signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Neurocritical Care Fellowship is required.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice coverage.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration to prescribe narcotics if applicable.

Position: Neurocritical Care Physician

Expertise: Physician (MD/DO) - Neurocritical Care Fellowship training

Salary Range: $314,137-$450,000

• Illinois Neurological Institute & OSF HealthCare are looking for Neurocritical Care Physicians to join their growing practice
• High volume program with 18 bed Neuroscience ICU with ~1,000 stroke admissions per year

• Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $314,137-$450,000
  • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

• ACGME‑accredited Residency Training in any of the following: Neurology, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Neurosurgery
• Completion of a Neurocritical Care Fellowship is required.
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
• Education: MD/DO
• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Neurology Residency Training plus Neurocritical Care Fellowship training is preferred.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
