Job summary

Dignity Health Mercy Medical Group in Carmichael, CA, seeks a Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner to join a highly specialized Neurocritical Care service within the Dignity Health Neurological Institute of Northern California, offering care in a 20-bed Neuro ICU and supporting a Joint Commission-certified Stroke Center.

The role collaborates with neurointensivists, neurosurgeons, and neuro-interventional radiologists to ensure the highest quality of care for patients with emergent neurological

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited APRN program.
• Certification as ACNP or AGACNP.
• Neurocritical Care experience desirable.
• Procedural experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients with complex neurological conditions in the Neuro ICU.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary stroke intervention team (neurointensivists, neurosurgeons, neuro-interventional radiologists).
• Contribute to expanding advanced neurological critical care capabilities and quality outcomes.

Education
