Job summary

Hartford Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the Neurocritical Care team within the Ayer Neuroscience Institute. The APPs rotate in the ICU and step-down units on a three 13-hour shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a critical care/neurocritical care setting.
• Licensed to practice in Connecticut (or eligible).
• Board-eligible/board-certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine physical examinations and develop medical/educational plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Provide patient- and family-centered education within protocols.
