Tufts University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Neurobiology to begin September 1, 2027. We seek a scientist pursuing fundamental questions in neurobiology, with interest in how neural circuits generate, regulate, and modify behavior.

We welcome applicants working in behavioral and computational neuroscience, sensory and motor systems, neural circuits, and neuroethology. The successful candidate will establish an innovative, externally funded research program,

Responsabilités

• Establish and lead an externally funded research program in neurobiology.
• Mentor postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and undergraduates.
• Develop and teach mid-level courses on neural circuits, neural systems, and behavioral neuroscience.
• Develop an advanced undergraduate or graduate course in the candidate's area.
• Collaborate across Tufts departments and centers to advance neuroscience, aging, and brain health.
