Job summary
Mercy Springfield in Wisconsin is seeking an RN to provide patient care using the nursing process, with accountability for the care of assigned patients. You will evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by colleagues and coordinate patient care with other departments while protecting patient rights and confidentiality.
Mercy offers a Nurse Residency program tailored to the specialty area, with sign-on and relocation incentives.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Licensure: Active RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- Physical: Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Mobility: Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
- Certifications: BLS required within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
- Maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
- Evaluates overall effectiveness of care by other direct care givers.
- Coordinates patient care with other departments.
- Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
