Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required; EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends and on-call.
• Demonstrated leadership, effective communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education and transitions of care.
• Provide leadership through the Nursing Professional Practice Model and participate in quality improvement efforts.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and available resources.
