Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking a Telemetry Technician for our Neurology Unit. This Per-Diem position requires 12-hour Night shifts and monitors electrocardiography according to established standards while performing clerical and reception duties.

Qualifications

• Must complete basic dysrhythmias course.
• MOAB I/II within 30 to 150 days of hire for employees in Emergency Dept. and PARC.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Preferred: ward secretaries course and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Monitors electrocardiography according to established standards.
• Attends nursing station and performs clerical and reception duties.
• Requisitions supplies, equipment, and services as directed.
