Qualifications

• MSN required.
• Doctorate (PhD, DNP, or related) preferred.
• 3-5 years of Surgical Services leadership experience required.
• Experience leading Neuro Surgical Services or complex perioperative operations preferred.
• Current Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Nurse Executive Board Certification (NE-BC) preferred.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement departmental goals, standards, and objectives that align with the strategic vision and mission of Baptist Health, with a strong focus on Neuro Surgical Services.
• Partner with physicians, nursing leadership, surgical teams, and key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Lead and support employee engagement initiatives, including performance management, staff development, coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
• Collaborate with administration and Surgical Services leadership to drive operational growth strategies, improve OR efficiency, recruit and retain top talent, and evaluate both capital and operational needs.
• Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, vendor relationships, and contractual agreements to ensure operational effectiveness and fiscal responsibility.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and excellence across the department.
