CHRISTUS Health’s 8NT Neuro Telemetry unit in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a registered nurse to provide independent, comprehensive care in a neuroscience setting.

The nurse will use the nursing process, educate patients and families, administer meds per protocol, document care, and collaborate with neurosurgeons and neurologists; a BSN is preferred and BLS is required; 3x12 schedule; full-time.

Qualificações

• BSN preferred.
• 1 year of experience in nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required.
• RN license in state of employment or compact (as applicable).

Responsabilidades

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Educates patients, family members and/or care givers; identifies issues and resources.
