Job summary

Novant Health's Coastal Region Neurosciences Institute is launching a Neuro Fit RN rotation program in Wilmington, NC. Nurses will rotate through Neuro Medical, Neuro Surgical, and Neuro Stepdown, then settle into a permanent neuroscience unit.

The program includes a comprehensive orientation and ongoing support from experienced preceptors and leadership. The schedule is full-time at 0.9 FTE (72 hours per 2 weeks), with a 12-hour night shift (7p–7a) and optional Thursday–Saturday blocks.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong foundation in neurological nursing care.
• Gain experience with different neurological patient populations and levels of care.
• Develop relationships with team members and leaders throughout the Neuroscience Institute.
• Identify the clinical environment that best supports your skills and career goals.
• Participate in a successful transition into a permanent Neuroscience Institute nursing team.
