Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neurology 8 East unit in St. Louis, MO. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and coordinate care while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

The role emphasizes clinical complexity, teamwork, and ongoing skill development in a fast-paced neuro environment. Location: Mercy Hospital South, 36 hours/week, weekday day shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Conduct ongoing patient assessments and care coordination.
• Document care activities and ensure patient-centered care in line with Mercy's mission.
