Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support neurologically injured patients in real-life settings. You will work under a supervising Physical Therapist to address balance, mobility and functional movement, helping patients regain independence at home and in the community.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification per state regulations.
• At least one year of PTA work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT services planned, delegated and supervised by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Regularly discusses patient plan of treatment, progress, questions and concerns with the Physical Therapist.
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment, treatment areas and department spaces.
• Reports equipment problems to ensure proper maintenance.
• Communicates patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and helps secure adaptive equipment when needed.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.
• Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct, policies, HIPAA and professional standards.
