Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, plan and delegate care based on patient needs, and evaluate responses to care. The RN remains accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.

Education requires graduation from a state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure. BLS is required before orientation ends, and ACLS must be completed within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
• Experience: Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
• Additional Skills: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period. ACLS within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and priorities for care through assessment.
• Plan and delegate care based on patient needs.
• Evaluate the patient's response to care and progress toward outcomes.
• Accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
