• Very heavy work: occasional exertion of 100 pounds or more, frequent exertion of 50 pounds or more, and constant exertion of 20 pounds or more to move objects. • Heavy work: does not exceed the physical demands described above. • Requires maintaining a production rate pace, sometimes with negligible weight, which can be physically demanding. • Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue. The incumbent works in patient care areas with exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous medications or waste.
