Texas Health Resources seeks a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Neuro PCU at Texas Health Southwest in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time day shift supports patient care planning, data collection, and teamwork to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED, PCT training or THR-approved program, BCLS, CPI, and relevant clinical exposure. Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CLIAFE compliance for foreign education equivalency required.
• PCT training program or THR approved program required or on hire.
• EMT-B or equivalent training may be required on hire.
• BCLS certification required prior to providing independent patient care.
• CPI training required annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assistance based on plan of care and patient/family preferences.
• Collect and report patient data, support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Perform technical procedures safely and document care.
• Collaborate with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and proactively meet patient and visitor needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives.
