Job summary

The George Washington University Hospital is seeking an RN to join a high-acuity Neuro Ortho unit in Washington, DC. You will care for complex patients including stroke, TBI, and spine cases, building advanced clinical skills in a leading academic medical center.

Responsibilities include patient-centered care, monitoring neurologic conditions, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and supporting patients and families through recovery and education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current state nursing license.
• BLS certification required.
• Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care for neuro, trauma, and post-operative patients.
• Monitor and assess complex neurologic conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support patients and families through recovery and education.
