Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an Ortho-Neuro Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Springfield, MO. You will care for patients with various neuro and orthopedic conditions, administer medications, monitor status, and educate families in a fast-paced, team-based unit.

Requirements include Missouri RN licensure and active BLS; ACLS/Trauma/NIHSS certifications are encouraged. The role offers a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and career ladder opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• MO RN license active in Missouri.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Specialty certifications in ACLS, Trauma, NIHSS encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients with medical conditions or surgical procedures in Ortho-Neuro unit.
• Assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, document care.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
