Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks a board-certified Neuro-Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team serving the Puget Sound region, including Tacoma and Seattle locations. You will provide comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with medical, radiation, and surgical oncology teams to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Neurology (ABPN).
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency.
• Fellowship in Neuro-Oncology.
• Active Washington medical license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of new patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide ongoing management and follow-up for diverse neuro-oncology conditions.
• Educate patients and families with educational resources and community services.
• Collaborate with other providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Stay current with research and best practices in Neuro-Oncology.
• Participate in community outreach and education on cancer care.
