The University of Chicago's Department of Neurology invites applications for full-time neuro-oncologist faculty at any rank. Positions are benefits eligible and dependent on qualifications.

Appointees will join a multidisciplinary brain tumor program spanning Hyde Park and affiliated care sites across the Chicago area, contributing to clinical care, education of fellows, residents and medical students, and translational research.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent.
• Medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana.
• ACGME-accredited residency in neurology.
• Board certified or board eligible in neurology.
• Completed neuro-oncology fellowship and UCNS eligibility/certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care across inpatient and outpatient settings within the Department of Neurology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary brain tumor team (neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology).
• Engage in education and training of fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Participate in clinical trials and translational research leveraging UC cancer center resources.

Education
