Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills; ability to follow instructions.
• Experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Medical and Neuro Telemetry patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
