Qualifications

• Associate degree, certificate, or advanced degree in radiologic technology, or modalities of employment, from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
• Working competency in additional modality
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Executes basic clinical competence in general radiology; performs exams and procedures in CT, MRI, Mammography, and/or Interventional Radiology as needed.
• Applies knowledge of radiology principles and practices, including anatomy and physiology, radiation safety and physics, patient positioning and patient care skills.
• Documents accurate patient care activity in various electronic health records systems.
• Ensures a safe and appropriate work environment; maintains supplies and inventory; informs when supplies need ordering; reports equipment problems.
• Participates in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives and training.
