Job summary

TotalMed RN in Tyler, Texas is seeking a Neuro ICU travel nurse for a 13-week assignment. This RN will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift in a demanding ICU environment, providing direct patient care to critically ill individuals.

Required: ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications and 2 years of recent acute care experience. Benefits include weekly pay, guaranteed hours, continuing education, 401k and medical/dental/vision plans.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside ICU care and monitoring for critically ill patients.
• Administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Monitor and adjust ICU equipment; document patient data accurately.
• Communicate patient conditions and needs to families and care teams.
