Job summary

Huntsville Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to assess patient needs, plan and delegate care, evaluate responses, and accountability for outcomes during the shift. The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment.

Education requirements include graduation from a state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure; BLS before orientation end and ACLS within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
• Experience: Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
• Additional Skill/Abilities: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period. ACLS within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment and plan and delegate care.
• Evaluate patient responses to care and progress toward expected outcomes.
• Be accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
