AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, Florida, is seeking a registered nurse for night shift. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and patient education.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, document thoroughly, and drive continuous improvement. Requirements include an Associate's in Nursing with Florida RN licensure; 1+ year of acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with Associate's degree required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; licensure as RN in Florida.
• 1+ year in acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological and psychosocial domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
• Document care activities, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Monitor and adjust plans to improve health outcomes; ensure infection control and safety.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to team members to maintain quality.
• Participate in performance improvement and professional development.
