Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital Neuro ICU is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am). The unit cares for patients with traumatic brain injuries, strokes, brain tumors, and other critical neurologic conditions.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide advanced nursing care and education to patients and families. The role emphasizes professional development, safety, and high-quality patient outcomes, with opportunities for ongoing education and advancement

Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• BSN preferred
• ICU/Neuro ICU experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care.
• Educates patients and families on illness, home care, and medications.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care with goals.
• Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Communicates plan of care across the care continuum.
