Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the night shift in the Southwest location. You will provide professional nursing care, perform assessments, assist with exams and treatments, educate patients, and maintain medical records under the nursing process.

Hires based on experience levels RN I–IV with a focus on safety, compassion, personalization, and efficiency. Current Texas license and BLS are required; other certifications may be needed per unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor’s of Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support; additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.
• RN I < 1 year; RN II = 1-3 years; RN III = 3-10 years; RN IV = 10+ years.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to the nursing skills inventory and age/needs of the patient.
• Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and administers clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes; coordinates discharge and transfer plans.
• Participates in program and process improvement, evaluating care quality.
