Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for hospital inpatient/ED in Peoria, IL. The role supports health and wellness through care coordination with a multidisciplinary team and ongoing patient advocacy.

You will assess physical symptoms, provide psychological support, mentor team members, and uphold professional standards in a 24/7 hospital setting. RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan).
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the RN licensure.
• Collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team to coordinate care across the continuum.
• Assesss and supports physical symptoms and provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
• Mentors assigned team members and promotes best practices in a 24/7 hospital inpatient/ED setting.
