Job summary

The RN Neuro ICU role at Allegheny General Hospital is a full-time position in a 22-bed neuro ICU within a Magnet-recognized system. You will provide high-level nursing care, participate in care planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes for patients with complex neurological conditions.

Location is on-site in Pittsburgh, with rotating shifts and adherence to departmental standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure or active multi-state license required.
• CPR certification required (BLS/ACLS preferred).
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical assessment and care planning for neuro ICU patients.
• Provides safe and effective care for critically ill adults according to regulations.
• Directs and manages patient care delivery by the patient care team.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team from admission through discharge.
